Terms of service
Terms of Service
Effective Date: 14 July 2026
Welcome to Unilever Reboot, the official employee marketplace for the sale of end-of-life corporate laptops.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Unilever Reboot website and the purchase of devices made available through the platform.
By accessing this website or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Unilever Reboot
Unilever Reboot is an internal initiative that provides eligible Unilever employees with the opportunity to purchase selected corporate laptops that have reached the end of their operational lifecycle within the business.
These devices are offered for personal use only and are not new products.
2. Eligibility
Purchases may only be made by:
-
current eligible Unilever employees;
-
individuals using a valid Unilever email address;
-
employees who successfully complete the required email verification process.
Unilever Reboot reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel any order where eligibility cannot be verified.
3. One Laptop Per Employee
Each eligible employee may purchase one (1) laptop only during the Unilever Reboot sale.
Attempts to purchase multiple devices through:
-
multiple accounts;
-
alternative email addresses;
-
proxy purchases; or
-
any other method intended to circumvent this restriction
may result in:
-
cancellation of all associated orders;
-
refunds being issued where applicable; and
-
removal of purchasing eligibility.
4. Product Availability
All laptops are offered:
-
while stocks last;
-
on a first-paid, first-served basis; and
-
subject to availability.
Adding a product to your cart does not reserve the laptop.
A laptop is only considered allocated once payment has been successfully completed.
If a purchased device becomes unavailable due to inventory discrepancies or operational issues, Unilever Reboot may:
-
allocate a comparable replacement (where available); or
-
issue a full refund.
5. Product Information
Every effort has been made to accurately describe each device.
Product descriptions may include:
-
model;
-
specifications;
-
photographs;
-
known cosmetic defects;
-
known functional issues; and
-
included accessories.
Because these are pre-owned devices, cosmetic appearance may vary.
Employees acknowledge that minor wear consistent with normal corporate use should be expected.
6. Condition of Sale
All laptops are sold:
-
as-is;
-
without refurbishment;
-
without warranty;
-
without guarantees regarding future performance.
Employees accept the device in its current condition.
7. Pricing
All laptops are sold at the same fixed purchase price regardless of:
-
model;
-
cosmetic condition;
-
age;
-
previous usage; or
-
market value.
Delivery charges for courier shipping, where selected, are additional and will be displayed during checkout.
8. Payment
Payment must be completed using the payment methods offered during checkout.
Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised.
Unilever Reboot reserves the right to cancel unpaid or failed transactions.
9. Delivery and Collection
Delivery options are governed by the Shipping & Collection Policy.
Employees are responsible for selecting the correct delivery option and ensuring that all delivery information provided is accurate.
Risk and ownership transfer to the employee upon collection or successful courier delivery.
10. Returns
Returns are governed by the Return & Refund Policy.
Except for laptops that are confirmed to be Dead on Arrival (DOA), all sales are final.
No returns, exchanges or refunds will be accepted for reasons including:
-
cosmetic condition;
-
battery life;
-
buyer's remorse;
-
compatibility;
-
performance expectations;
-
normal wear and tear; or
-
faults arising after acceptance.
11. Employee Responsibilities
Employees agree to:
-
provide accurate information during checkout;
-
use the website lawfully;
-
inspect the laptop upon receipt;
-
comply with all applicable policies;
-
accept responsibility for the device after collection or delivery.
Employees are solely responsible for:
-
repairs;
-
maintenance;
-
upgrades;
-
replacement parts;
-
software installation;
-
technical support; and
-
ongoing use of the laptop after acceptance.
12. Personal Use Only
Laptops purchased through Unilever Reboot are intended for personal use.
The platform is not intended to support commercial purchasing or resale activities.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Unilever, its affiliates, employees and representatives shall not be liable for:
-
hardware failures occurring after acceptance;
-
battery degradation;
-
data loss;
-
software issues;
-
incompatibility with third-party applications;
-
indirect, incidental or consequential damages;
-
loss of income;
-
loss of business;
-
loss of information;
-
or any damages arising from the continued use of the device.
The employee assumes all risks associated with ownership and use of the laptop once accepted.

16. Website Availability
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure the availability of the website, Unilever Reboot does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The website may be temporarily unavailable due to:
-

-
amend these Terms;
